2016 Annual Report | Page 12

My connection to CHI St. Luke’ s Health is profound and personal. More than 60 years ago, my family built the original St. Luke’ s Episcopal Hospital, which now stands in the heart of the Texas Medical Center( TMC).
My family and I have received outstanding treatment there, and I am proud to be involved in the development and construction of the groundbreaking new hospital rising on the south side of the TMC. Much has changed since St. Luke’ s first opened its doors in 1954. This outstanding single hospital in the heart of our city has evolved into the complex, multi-facility system we see today.
From The Woodlands and Sugar Land, to Lake Jackson, Lufkin, and East Texas, CHI St. Luke’ s Health is growing and changing to meet the needs of those it serves and those it needs to serve.
