CUSTOMIZED HIRING EVENTS
Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend ( WFSCB ) provides more than 300 hiring events annually to more than 35 local employers . Texas Department of Criminal Justice ( TDCJ ), The Results Customer Solutions Company , and Securitas have used monthly , and in some cases weekly hiring events to meet their hiring needs . Corpus Christi Independent School District and the Regional Transportation Authority also participate in hiring events throughout the year .
While hiring events are not new , they are best suited for WFSCB Career Centers because it is the only organization in the region with a large , concentrated group of people actively seeking employment daily . It is also an opportunity for the employer to be on center stage rather than one of many options at a multi-employer job fair .
