Stu- dents who secure at least two internships in college are more likely to be employed within six months of graduation and have a starting salary above $50,000. 3 Graduates with lower GPAs in college have lower salaries after graduation. Our data show that an “A“ student earns $10,000 more in their first job than a “C” student. 4 Students who work more than 15 hours per week have a harder time maintaining a “B” average or higher.
