Division Grommets (Boys & Girls) Cadets (Boys & Girls) Junior (Boys & Girls) Pro-Junior (Boys & Girls) Open Men/Women Masters Men/Women Senior/Masters Grand Masters Legends Kahunas Dukes Grand Dukes Surfers age Under 14 years Under 16 years Under 18 years Under 21 years Open age Over 35 years Over 40 years Over 45 years Over 50 years Over 55 years Over 60 years Over 65 years Eligibility Criteria: “Under Age” Divisions – Competitors must be under the specified age as of 31st December in the year of competition “Over Age” Divisions – Competitors must be of age as of 1st January in the year of competition Competitors must be current members of Surfing Australia Junior competitors may only surf one individual division at National Titles Open/Surf Masters competitors may surf in two divisions at National Titles Longboard competitors may surf two divisions at National Titles Logger competitors may surf two divisions at National Titles SUP competitors may surf two divisions and one division of both Technical and Marathon races at the National Titles Residency Eligibility – National Title competitors must be holders of an Australian passport, Australian birth certificate or current Australian citizenship documents. To compete in a State team, competitors must be a resident in that state, as determined by the constitutional borders and rules, and must also be a current financial member when events occur. Proof of all of the above will be on the onus of every competitor and can be requested by the Technical Committee/Director at any time prior, during, or after the specified event. www.surfingaustralia.com 13
