Trained and shown by Chad Baucom, Charlie is a true Cinderella story. Born and raised by Bob and Vicky Stannard of Rolling Acres Farm in Lebanon, Kentucky, and started under saddle by Rocky McCoy, Charlie first burst on the scene at the 2009 Walking Horse Trainers Show where he won the 2 Year Old Stallion division. Shown sparingly as a 2 year old his next big splash was at the Kentucky Celebration that year where he caught the eye of his eventual Championship partner Chad Baucom. Charlie was purchased between his 3 and 4 year old seasons by noted horseman, and Baucom customer, John Callicut. Charlie went on to win the 2012 World Grand Championship and returned to the ring briefly at the 2014 Celebration and was crowned World Champion again with John Callicut aboard. His first foals are now on the ground and everybody wants one. They are beautiful, intelligent and move great. His oldest will go under saddle in the Fall of 2015.
