Ongoing: Kimberly Edgar, Avian Ghosts (2nd Ave, nest to CIBC) Avian Ghosts is a small scale outdoor installation connecting the sadness of losing a loved one with a bird die-off that happened in 2014. Sat + Sun: 11:00am – 5:00pm Splintered Carnival (Riverside Park, Front St.) Splintered Carnival is a traveling multimedia project brought to you by the fine folks at Splintered Craft. The carnival will feature a series of attractions and games designed with the help from youth aged 15-25 in Whitehorse. Splintered Craft is a youth led arts studio based in downtown Whitehorse and is a Skookum Jim Friendship Centre program. Sat + Sun: 11:00am – 5:00pm Cari Tangedal & Krista Davis, Inner Wild (Front St. near Gazebo) Take the wild as your lover. Let her lead you to the end of the road, to the edge of the cliff, to the middle of yourself. Through stopmotion animation, live footage and text, this collaborative video installation tells of a place indescribable by means of language and sometimes hard to find, but surely and confidently inside us all. 22__
