Resorts
If you’re going to experience some of the
best fishing in North America it makes
sense that the accommodations you
choose should be as good as the fishing.
With over 200 resorts as members of our
Travel Association, we think finding the
right place to stay won’t be a problem.
Before choosing the lodge you want to stay
at, do your homework and know what it is
that you are looking for.
American Plan Lodges
If you want to concentrate exclusively on
fishing and not have to cook any meals or
drive the boat, an all-inclusive American
plan package is probably what fits the bill.
With this package you’ll enjoy splendid
meals and an experienced fishing guide.

All you have to do is get up in the morning
get dressed and then get ready for a great
day out on the water.
Housekeeping Cabins
Designed with the independent angler in
mind, renting a housekeeping cabin
affords you the time and flexibility to fish
on your own schedule – no set meal times
– so if the bite is on you don’t have to
worry about leaving your fishing hole to
get back in time for supper. Housekeeping
cabins are ideal for family groups since
they are more affordable than an
American plan package. Most cabins can
accommodate 4 to 8 people and some of
the larger ones can accommodate parties
up to 12.

Drive, Boat or Fly
The great thing about vacationing in Sunset
Country is the fact you have a number of
options in terms of how you access the
lodge you’ll be staying at. For the visitor
who wants to drive in to the region, there
are many lodges that are road accessible
and where you can bring your own boat. A
little more unique experience and a little
more remote as well are boat-in lodges. In
many cases, these locations are much like a
fly-in since sometimes, the lodge is an hour
or more boat ride from the launch. For the
most remote experience, fly-in lodges and
outposts get you into wilderness locations
not accessible by roads.
