Watersports From paddleboarding to wakeboarding to tubing, having 70,000 freshwater lakes and rivers makes it easy to be a watersports paradise! Who knows, when you turn the corner there may be a pristine sand beach sitting there just waiting for you. Sailing is popular in Dryden, Fort Frances, and on Lake of the Woods. Many windsurfers can be seen out on Wabigoon Lake during the summer. In 2013, Smooth Sailing started parasailing adventures over beautiful Lake of the Woods. What a way to see the lake!
