acoustics and sightlines.
Neighbouring First Nations communities are host to annual Pow
Wows, colourful and lively celebrations reflective of local
Anishinabek culture. Other community amenities include the
Dryden Regional Health Centre, seniors housing complex and long
term care facility, library, local fire and police services, airport, and
convention facilities.

manufactured on-site. Visitors can request to tour the
manufacturing facility.
Proudly standing at the Visitor Information Centre, Maximillian
Moose (Max to the locals), stands 17 feet tall and weighs nine tons
and resides at the Visitor Information Centre. In honour of his
ancestors, cousins, and friends of the wilderness, this burly beast,
with head raised, captures the spirit of Sunset Country and the city
that offers “everything under the sun.”
