2013 (Freshman)
• Played in 16 matches in 2013
• Saw action at setter early in the season as the Huskers used a 6-2 offense
• Totaled 14 assists in her collegiate debut against Louisiana-Monroe and notched a
double-double with 10 digs
• Posted 19 assists against Auburn and Saint Louis on Aug. 31
• Also recorded three aces against Auburn.
Before Nebraska
• Joined the Huskers from Papillion-La Vista South High School in Papillion, Neb.
• Mother, Lori (Melcher) Hunter, was a Husker setter from 1977-1980; father, Jeff, played
in the Boston Red Sox organization from 1980-1982; sister, Lindsey, played at Missouri
from 2002-2005 and was a U.S. National Team member
• Joined the Huskers with high school teammates Amber and Kadie Rolfzen
• Honored with the 2013 Andi Collins Award, presented to the top high school setter in
the nation by PrepVolleyball.com
• Named a 2013 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection
• Ranked as the No. 13 player in the country by PrepVolleyball.com
• Named a 2012-13 AVCA Second-Team Under Armour All-American
• Led Papillion-La Vista South to three consecutive state titles and two undefeated
seasons as well as the 2010 and 2011 MaxPreps and ESPN Rise national titles
• Posted 861 total assists, 225 digs and 62 total blocks as a senior
• Named a first-team All-American by PrepVolleyball.com in 2011 and 2012, as well as a
Senior Ace, and was a candidate for Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year honors in 2011
• Was also honored as a member of PrepVolleyball.com’s Top 50 Juniors list
• Was a member of the USA Youth National Team
• Was a member of PrepVolleyball.com’s Soph 59 list in 2010
• Was a three-time first team all-state selection by the Omaha World-Herald (2010-12)
