HUSKERS IN THE PROS
WORLD CHAMPIONS
Led by three former Huskers, the U.S. National Team
won its first major gold medal with a 3-1 win over
China in Milan, Italy in October 2014. The U.S. women
had never before won gold at any of the three major
international volleyball events: World Championship,
World Cup or Olympic Games.
