HOME OF CHAMPIONS At Nebraska, volleyball is not just a game, it’s an event. Some of the things you’ll experience at an NU volleyball match include: Fans chanting “Husker Power” at deafening levels, Lil’ Red entertaining children, the Tunnel Walk whipping the crowd into a frenzy as the Huskers take the court, and autograph seekers swarming players after each match. In 2014, the Huskers led the nation in attendance for the second straight year since moving into the beautifully renovated Bob Devaney Sports Center. In 2013, Nebraska fans set an NCAA-attendance record with 8,175 fans per match. The Huskers also hold an NCAA-record regular-season sellout streak of 188 matches dating back to 2001 at the NU Coliseum. 2014 NCAA HOME ATTENDANCE RANKINGS NEBRASKA 8,083 Hawaii 6,357 Wisconsin 4,933 Washington 3,379 Nebraska has ranked in the top Minnesota 3,343 three nationally in attendance every season for more than two decades. It also features a brand-new 28-foot by 13.5-foot high-definition video board that hangs over the court, as well as a sparkling locker room, ready room and administrative offices. “It’s the greatest place to play volleyball in NCAA VOLLEYBALL ALL-TIME the country, probably the world.
