2015 Nebraska Soccer Media Guide
The 2015 Nebraska soccer media guide is designed to assist the media in
its coverage of Husker soccer. Additional information, including releases and
photographs, may be obtained by contacting Kailyn Hawkins in the Nebraska
Communications Office at (402) 472-6263 or by e-mailing khawkins@huskers.
com. Please take a moment to review the following policies and services that are
intended to assist you in your coverage of Nebraska soccer this season. Thank

Barbara Hibner Stadium
The Nebraska Soccer and Tennis Complex, which consists of the Barbara Hibner
Soccer Stadium and the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Complex, is located north
of the Devaney Center near Nebraska’s Innovation Campus. Most Husker soccer
practices will be held at this location, the outdoor track field or inside the Hawks
Championship Center.

Press Room and Postgame Interviews
The soccer press area at the new Barbara Hibner Stadium is located west of
the field directly above the stands. Nebraska soccer players and coaches will be
available on the field following a brief cooling off period.

All media requests for interviews with Nebraska soccer players should be directed
to Kailyn Hawkins by calling (402) 472-6263 or by e-mail: [email protected];
at least one day in advance. Through the fall season, requested soccer studentathletes will be available for interviews, pending class and meeting schedules,
and at Monday press luncheons in the Don Bryant Media Facility on Level 6 of
Memorial Stadium. Soccer student-athletes are usually available for telephone
interviews early afternoons and evenings. The best time for in-sea
