A new era in Nebraska men’s tennis is about to begin. With construction nearly complete on the $20.4
million Nebraska Soccer and Tennis Complex, the Huskers are about to reap the benefits of a spectacular
new home unlike anything the program has ever known.
When the new complex opens this spring, it will feature six indoor courts and 12 lighted outdoor courts. For
the first time in program history, Nebraska will have indoor and outdoor courts dedicated solely for its own
use. The Huskers will also enjoy an on-campus indoor facility for the first time. Having dedicated indoor and
outdoor courts located in the same complex will allow the Huskers to seamlessly transition between indoor
and outdoor play, increasing the efficiency and convenience for Nebraska’s student-athletes.
The Nebraska Soccer and Tennis Complex, located on the UNL Campus and is north of Innovation Campus,
is a 28-acre facility that will also feature ample parking for student-athletes, coaches and fans, along with
combined seating for more than 1,000 tennis fans. The complex also includes a 2,500-seast soccer stadium.
