Alec Sery was one of Nebraska’s top five finishers in five of the six meets on the season, while notching a pair
of top-20 overall finishes...earned a top-20 finish at the Augustana Twilight Invitational...took 20th (19:22.15) at
Augustana as the fifth Husker to cross the finish line while helping Nebraska to a team title...added a 19th-place finish
(27:07.50) to help the Huskers to a second-place team finish at the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational at Pioneers
Park...was Nebraska’s No. 3 finisher at the Roy Griak Invitational (26:58), before closing the season in 37th (25:33.2)
at the Bradley Classic in Peoria, Ill...was Nebraska’s No. 4 finisher at the Big Ten Championships, notching a time of
25.39.2...finished the season with a time of 32.42.1 at the NCAA Midwest Regional.
Before Nebraska
Sery finished fourth (9:35.76) in the 3,200-meter run at the 2013 NJSIAA Group 3 Outdoor Track and Field
Championships...posted a career-best 3,200 time outdoors (9:32.08) on his way to an eighth-place finish at the
NJSIAA Group 4 Championships in 2014...was a member of the 4x800-meter relay team that finished fourth at the
championships...covered two miles in 9:31.58 to finish third at the 2014 Eastern States Indoor Championships.
