In a special partnership with the City of
Stonnington, the Stonnington Series pairs a
selection of Melbourne’s orchestras with the
south–east’s most glorious churches for a
sublime series of free lunchtime performances.
Each Tuesday and Thursday, Melbourne’s south–
east comes alive to the sound of Haydn’s majestic
repertoire, as a slate of acclaimed Australian
ensembles take us on an informal and intimate
musical tour—an homage to the enduring beauty
of the string quartet.
Consummately performed and open to all, the
Stonnington Series is a true embodiment of the
spirit of Haydn for Everyone.
