PREMIER JUNIOR CULTURAL AWARD: Joint Winners in 2014: Arran Cargill-Brown: The Mary Finlay Trophy for Premier Junior Culture. Arran was also awarded a Principal’s Cultural award in drama and music, and a full Year 10 Diploma Morgan Pearce: The Mary Finlay Trophy for Premier Junior Culture. Morgan was also awarded a Principal’s Cultural Award in drama, music, Tikanga Māori and Te Kapa Haka o Maungawharau, and a full Year 10 Diploma THE FAIR PLAY LEADERSHIP AWARD (Given to the captain of a junior team who best leads by example.) Harry Young: Trophy for Sports Leadership. Harry was also awarded a Principal’s Sports award for fair play leadership, the Riverbend Trophy for Best Junior Boy Cricketer, a Rata House Principal’s Award, an academic achievement award in four courses and a full Year 10 Diploma. PREMIER JUNIOR SPORTSWOMAN AWARD: Georgia Hulls: the Meade Cup for Junior Sportswoman of the Year. Georgia was also awarded the Trophy for Best Junior Performer in Equestrian, a Tainui House Principal’s Award, Distinction in International Competitions Assessments for Schools English competition and a full Year 10 Diploma. PREMIER JUNIOR SPORTSMAN AWARD: Robert Fridd: the Meade Cup for Junior Sportsman of the year, the McCarthy Cup for the Most Valuable Player in Boys’ Squash, the Miller Trophy for the Most Improved Player in Boys’ Rugby, the Meade Cup for the Best Junior Boy Rugby Player, a Certificate for Best Junior Boy Squash Player and a Miro House Principal’s Award.
