A Reason to Serve
Two Hispanic brothers who obey the Lord and serve with grateful hearts. Antonio Razon and
Roberto Calderon both believe that it is the blessing and grace of God that led them to volunteer
at the Hanhee Kim World Mission Center.

Roberto Calderon
Antonio Razon is the president of the Hispanic
group at the Denver Dongsan Baptist Church. When
he became president, he did not have many ideas on
how to led this recently formed group. However, as
he was studying the [Experiencing God] book, he
began to know more about God and His purpose.
After a few months, the Hispanic group started to
change little by little. During this time, they were
introduced to the Hanhee Kim World Mission Center
and they began to experience the Holy Spirit’s strong
leadership manifesting in their hearts. Many members
of the Hispanic group are immigrants from South
America. They realized that millions of children
in Latin American that still did not hear about the
Gospel of Jesus. There was confirmation that it was
God’s plan for them to have a relationship with the
mission center.
It was not long ago when Roberto Calderon, a father
of 6 children, began to volunteer at the Hanhee
Kim World Mission Center. Brother Roberto was a
divinely-appointed worker. He works full-time for
a construction company but whenever he has time,
even for a moment, he shares the gospel of God
with people who he meets wherever he goes.
This conviction immediately went into practice as
they started to sponsor 5 children in the [Children
of Jesus] ministry. Despite finanical limitations, they
were reminded of these words from God, “Whatever
you did for one of the least of these brothers and
sisters of mine, you did for me.” They simply want to
share the love of the Lord with these underprivileged
children. We are experiencing the love God has
toward the nations through Antonio and the
Hispanic group who are giving their best to build up
the faith can only take root in a good field.

He also drives a church van to the apartments by his
home to take children to church in order to teach
them about the importance of the Sunday worship
service.
When Roberto was introduced to the [Children of
Jesus] ministry at the Hanhee Kim World Mission
Center, he realized immediately the plan God had
for him and decided to volunteer for the [Coin Box]
ministry. He started to share the purpose of the coin
box and install them in many of the Hispanic stores
in the Denver area.
At the start of July 2015, God called Roberto to do
more. Roberto began to take the mission center’s
brochures and leaflets to the Hispanic music festivals,
concerts and marketplaces where many people
gathered. Through him, many poor children in Peru
received a sponsor! Roberto commits many of his
weekends towards following God’s will. We are to
experience our faithful God through the obedience,
just as Roberto has shown us how to.
