What is Fusion Partnerships? Through collaborative action, including fiscal sponsorship, Fusion Partnerships, Inc. works to be a catalyst for justice and peace. Our vision for Baltimore is thriving communities with equitable resources, modeling collaborative processes and organizational structures which foster social justice, peace and love.
Tasks:
• Updated policies and procedures document to improve clarity and allow for easier program onboarding and compliance
• Researched and compiled a report on OSI Community Fellows with Fusion programs, reviewing their respective funding and expense patterns
• Designed policies handbook and various marketing materials
In June, at one of Fusion’ s Quarterly Program Potluck clarity: to think that at the beginning of the summer more than a vague understanding of the scope and p nonprofit world was incredibly narrow‐minded. Over with Fusion, and with the CIIP program, my apprecia that grassroots organizations do in this city has only Namely, my ideas on nonprofit structure have develo how, as a fiscal sponsor, Fusion provides incredible s organizations and programs that share, as communit Fusion’ s 501( c)( 3) status; this sponsorship allows pro and work devoted to their organization’ s own missio office( which included meeting, talking with, or listen people who flow in and out of it everyday), I learned the complicated behind‐the‐scenes work at Fusion, b directly translates to on‐the‐ground successes within organizations. Through the opportunities I had to vis on meetings of conference‐planning committees, cri and even the Fusion Board, my personal ideas on wh nonprofit organization have evolved to include valuin consensus‐building as a necessity in program develop worked with at the office, who together support nea organizations, are some of the most humble people working with; our work and conversations have help importance of empowering those with great ideas to in the city we live in. ‐Simon
