ATTENDED CERN BRIEFING
Erzurum Commerce and Industry Chamber organized
an Information Meeting about the promotion of
European Organisation of Nuclear Research (CERN),
business opportunities and ongoing accelerator
technologies in Turkey. After Turkey became
an associate member of CERN in 2014 Turkish
businessmen, scientists and educators are provided
more opportunities to take part in commercial,
scientific and educational activites of CERN. ETSO’s
(Erzurum Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası- Erzurum Commerce
and Industry Chamber) purpose of organizing this
briefing was primarily to inform the associated people
of Erzurum about the possible ways of engaging these
commercial, scientific and educational activites.
Our school physics teacher Zeynep Tuğba Kahyaoğlu
had attended to CERN Turkish Teachers Programme in
2015 February in Geneva hence our school became
the only high school invited to this briefing by ETSO.
