"My HIV diagnosis shook up my life. I wanted to become a nurse, but this new condition was a huge obstacle for me. I became depressed and lost myself for a while... the team from Baylor never let me down; they insisted to talk with me, to help me come back and to focus on my treatment.... I have even spent a short time at Flower House, where I could compose myself and think about my alternatives. Today, I am back on my feet...."
