Larry Romjue (1975-79)

The first head coach of the Nebraska women’s golf team, Larry
Romjue guided the program to a successful start in its first four
seasons. Under Romjue, the Huskers won the 1975-76 Big Eight
Conference title, qualified for the 1976 AIAW Championships and
finished second at the AIAW Region Six meet in 1977. Romjue retired
in 2001 after 31 seasons as the men’s coach.

Jerry Fisher (1979-87)

The second head coach of the Nebraska women’s golf team,
Jerry Fisher led the Huskers to 12 tournament titles, including the
1980-81 AIAW Region Six championship and the 1983 Big Eight
Tournament championship. He spent eight seasons as Nebraska's
head coach.
In addition to his Husker head coaching duties, Fisher served as
the head golf pro at the Country Club of Lincoln from 1972 to 1987.
