In 2013, the USTA Hawaii Pacific Section had an exciting year of growth, enhancements and increases
in participation for most programs, leagues, community activities and events.
It is an exciting year for tennis! At the national level there are two very exciting projects that will take place.
First, there will be some major renovations taking place at the Billie-Jean King National Tennis Center at
Flushing Meadows. The most significant project will be the construction of a roof over Arthur Ashe Stadium!
Second, will be the construction of a mega tennis facility and new headquarters for the USTA in Orlando,
Florida at Lake N
