For the fourth year in a row Jan Axel Tribler and Mikael Maatta took home the title for the Men’s Triple Crown of Tennis. Hawaii’s top mens
doubles teams battled for the prestigious title of Champions at three thrilling tennis competitions hosted by the USTA Hawaii Pacific Section,
The Oahu Club and Kailua Racquet Club. The defending champions claimed the 2013 Triple Crown of Tennis title through consistent results
throughout the entire series. They took home the Oahu Club Men’s Night Doubles trophy with a strong win over Ikaika Jobe and Michal
Wojnarowicz. They lost a tight 7-6, 6-4 match against 2013 USTA Royal Lahaina Challenger player Dennis Lajola and former tennis pro
Michael Yani, who has competed in the qualifying or main draw of all four Grand Slams. The series consists of three tournaments hosted at
local clubs and parks. Players are awarded points per round won, with the top team being determined by the top two highest individual point
earners. Players compete for prize money in each event as well as $500 in bonus prize money and a coveted spot in the Doubles Main Draw of
the 2014 Royal Lahaina Challenger courtesy of the USTA Hawaii Pacific Section.

Challenger Wildcard Tournament. Michnev, the #1 player from the
Seawarriors would take home the title and earn himself a wild card
spot into the main draw of the Maui Challenger $50,000 Pro Circuit
event. Runner-up Moretti would earn a place in the qualifying draw
to vie for a spot in the main draw.
