1. Age? 15

2. Nicknames? Cal

3. Do you remember your very first race meeting? Where was it and how did you go? First meeting was at the last ever Gold Coast club meeting. I was 7, and said to my Dad “do I really need to do this?”

4. How do you like to prepare for a race meeting? I train during the week with Phil Young from GP Human Performance. We work on strength, endurance and managing fatigue. Exercise and diet plays a big part of my preparation.

5. What is your favourite circuit, and why? I enjoyed Albury. I thought it was a small technical track.

6. Who do you enjoy racing against the most? Liam McLellan, you always know it will be a clean, fun battle.

7. Does your helmet design have a special significance? I designed this helmet, and Shell Shock USA painted it before Super Nats Las Vegas. It has a gold leaf ‘W’ across the back, with flat and pearl paint.

8. Best moment in your career so far? Coming from last (51st) to nearly winning the Rotax Nationals. After qualifying 2nd and being penalised to last for so called “weaving during qualifying”.

9. Worst moment in your career so far? 2012 Gympie Pro Tour. I was hurt badly in a crash that took a year of physio to come good. It took a while to get over it both mentally and physically, so I guess this was the moment when I found fitness and became so determined.

10. Future racing goals? I would love to take my Dad to the World Finals this year, and my Grandfather/Pop to Bathurst in a few years.

11. What do you like to do away from the track? I love to mountain bike in our local State Forest (William Yarwood).

15. Worst habit? I drink way too much coffee!

16. Holiday destination you most want to visit? Canada – Snow skiing and mountain biking.

17. If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do with the money? Buy a race team and Dad could retire.

18. 3 things you couldn’t live without? Coffee, family, exercise.

19. Greatest advice you have been given? "Believe” and “Train insane or remain the same!”

20. People you would like to thank?

My mechanic Paul Gallo. My team Formula K Australia. Grant and Jace Lindstrom from Pro Karting. My trainer Phil Young from GP Human Performance. FMA Motorsports for all engine parts, and my family (Dad, Mum and sister Chase).
