WELCOME
It is my pleasure to welcome you all to another huge year of the Rotax Pro Tour, and where better to kick-start the season than here in Melbourne for the Australia Day long weekend.
I would like to thank John Wall and all the GKCV team involved for their sixth year in a row hosting this great event. To all the officials, volunteers and canteen staff your effort is very much appreciated by us all.
We will again be hosting a Friday Night BBQ at the track after practice. Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy a free meal and have a good time.
This year the Pro Tour promises to make the rankings much more interesting, with points being awarded in both your Pre-Finals and Finals, increasing your chance of qualifying for the Grand Finals. In 2014 the top 3 ranked drivers in Junior Max, Rotax Light, DD2 and DD2 Masters will qualify for the Grand Finals, which is still yet to be announced!
