FIME 2014
The Best of Miami Beach
20
Art Deco District
Stroll the streets of Miami Beach and
be transported to the 1930’s and 40’s.
More than 800 Art Deco structures
were built then, and today with its confetti-like colors, electrifying neon lights,
and sleek aerodynamic lines they are
the centerpieces of the area.
19
Fashion Models
Filled with movie stars, fashion models,
and socialites mixed in with the beach
party crowd. The hottest beach in the
country is the place to see and
be seen in.
18
Ocean Drive
Ocean Drive is the epicenter of cool
and a “must-do” experience when visiting Miami Beach. The very lively atmosphere makes it the number one place
to people watch. The restaurants offer
the best views of sun kissed beach goers weaving between the exotic sports
cars that cruise the strip.
17
Collins Avenue Hotel Crawl
Do the Collins Avenue hotel crawl. It’s
no cost and no car is necessary. Just
wander from luxury oceanfront hotel
to hotel, checking out the stunning
lobbies, gorgeous pools and perhaps
a celebrity lingering over a signature
martini at a poolside bar.
16
Espanola Way
Located near Lincoln Road, but much
lower in profile is Espanola Way, an
enchanting neighborhood with a European flavor of cafés, art galleries and
one-of-a-kind boutiques.
15
Haulover Beach Park
There is a marina and a fishing pier
with a bait and tackle shop on site but
the real reason most people visit is
because it’s the only public naturalist
beach in South Florida. Not for the
faint at heart.
