Designer
Award-winning theatre designer Rae Smith trained
at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in
London. She has worked on numerous international
productions, including the National Theatre’s War
Horse, which won the Olivier and Tony Awards for best
design. Smith’s designs have helped give life to theatre
productions in Britain at the National Theatre, the Royal
Court, the Lyric Hammersmith, the Royal Shakespeare
Company, Theatre de Complicite, the Birmingham Royal
Ballet and the Welsh National Opera.

Lighting Designer
Adam Silverman works as a lighting designer in opera,
theatre and dance, with companies as diverse as Boston
Ballet, the Scottish Dance Theatre, San Francisco
Opera, the Royal Shakespeare Company and Fabulous
Beast. His recent productions include Misterman for the
National Theatre; Deidamia and l’Ercole Amante for De
Nederlandse Opera; A Midsummer Night’s Dream and
Peter Grimes for the English National Opera. Silverman
has also lectured in composition and has been a longstanding accompanist at the London Contemporary
Dance School.

Costume Designer, Petrushka
Swiss-born Doey Lüthi has a BA in Studio Art from
Wellesley College, Massachusetts, and received her
MA in set and costume design at TISCH School for the
Arts, New York University. She has designed costumes

Nationaltheater Mannheim’s Carmen, The Shakespeare
Theatre Washington DC’s Trojan Women and the Court
Theatre Chicago’s Iphigenia Cycle. Recent projects

Torquato Tasso for Theater Bremen, Ariadne auf Naxos
for Opera National de Bordeaux and Methusalem-Projekt
for Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar.

Alyson Cummings began her career studying
architecture at University College Dublin, graduating
at the head of her class. After graduation, she interned

Council grant to train at the Motley Theatre Design
School in London. In 2007 she was a finalist for the
Linbury Biennial Prize For Stage Design. Her set and
costume designs include Mixed Marriage for the Lyric
Theatre Belfast, How to Succeed in Business Without
Really Trying for The Company, Hamlet at Helix Dublin
for Second Age Theatre Company and Crosswired for the
East London Dance Festival.

dance theatre companies in the world”, Fabulous Beast
is an international ensemble based in County Longford,
Ireland, led by artistic director Michael Keegan Dolan.
The company is best known for several
groundbreaking and controversial productions,
delivered in a unique style blending narrative,
physical theatre, dance, speech and song. Its
acclaimed shows have toured the world and have won
multiple awards, including a UK Critics’ Circle award
for best modern choreography for The Bull, and a
Bessie Award (New York Dance and Performance
Awards) for Rian.

Like her older sister Lidija, Sanja Bizjak took up piano at
six years old; at seven she performed onstage with the
Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, and at 12 she began
study at the Conservatoire de Paris. She has played
with many orchestras across Europe, and has won
several international awards, including the International
Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir
Horowitz in Kiev and the prize in piano and chamber
