The pain of regret is worse than the pain of discipline. Another key to becoming financially independent is to have a financial plan and commit to it. It takes time. An advisor who is proficient in the efficiencies of money can be of great help. Even saving just a few hundred dollars a month can have an impact on your financial success. The neat thing is that you are probably losing a few hundred dollars a month and are not even aware of it. So the net result is that you may not be spending any more money out of pocket than you are today to have a plan that works for you. The commitment part comes in because with this “extra” money you have to be disciplined to save it. When you do you this money you should also pay it back with interest. By making the commitment to saving you will be able to have the lifestyle you want today and in the future.

I hope this article has inspired you to take action to become financially independent women. There are no guarantees in life and money can’t buy happiness but it can sure make life easier. With money comes freedom and choices. You can choose to leave a bad relationship because you have the money and aren’t dependent on a man for financial support. Not happy with your job? Need money to start your business but the bank won’t give you a loan? No problem you can give yourself a loan. Financially independent women know how money works and how to use it to their advantage.
