1) Call the mall and find out when the slowest hours are or

if they offer special hours specifically for children with

special needs.

2) Dress for comfort, not for fashion.

3) Have realistic expectations. Maybe this year you just

wave at Santa from a distance - that is fantastic!

4) Read a social story about visiting Santa.

5) Bring reinforcements- respite provider, ABA tutor,

neighbor, or family friend.

6) Pose for the picture with your child.

7) Arrange with Santa to get on your child's level for picture.
