he Kiawah Conservancy offers a variety of
volunteer and education opportunities for
property owners, residents and visitors. We
encourage you to join us for an educational
program or activity, volunteer your time or sign up to learn
more about how the Conservancy is working to protect
Kiawah Island’s diverse wildlife and habitat.

2014 volunteer opportunities included:
•• Photography and writing for our magazine, Naturally
Kiawah
•• Kiawah Island Triathlon and Marathon for which the
Conservancy received a donation from the Kiawah
Island Golf Resort for recruiting volunteers
•• Stewardship visit with the Conservancy’s land
preservation coordinator
•• Bird monitoring and banding efforts throughout the
year including the Christmas Bird Count
•• Assisting with clerical tasks
•• Serving on Conservancy committees
•• Sharing special talents (as a consultant)
