Troubles are scarce nowadays
The trials and tribulations
of the past are gone
I have seen so many things that fill me
With a bubbly and light burst of laughter
The sun shines at all times
Even the storms have their joy
The booming and rolling thunder
Complements the flash of lightning
The stinging bees have the flowers
Blooming and opening thirstily to the sky
The tumultuous ocean is filled
With teeming, colorful life
Days of sorrow are overcast
By the hope that lingers humidly
With fingers of lace, the clouds stretch
Filling the gaping maw of sky
The sweet aroma of love lingers
Consuming the hearts of the young
Turning the fatigue of life
To a fresh, springing fire
The fire of passion burns away the doubt
The days are long and fulfilling
The slender slight of a smile
Arises in the midst of chaos
