Principal’s Awards
Principal’s house awards are awarded for an outstanding example to others in effort, reliability and
participation in a range of house activities. Principal’s cultural awards are awarded for an outstanding
contribution to the cultural life of the school. Principal’s sports awards are awarded for an outstanding
contribution to the sporting life of the school, and for excellent sporting achievement and fair play.

Bennett, Lucy: for Voix de Femmes, Concert Band, Orchestra, Havelock Singers and her contribution to the school production, the Talent
Show and the Cultural Committee; Clarke, Christopher: for Colla Voce,
Concert Band, Stage Band and Future Prospect; de Burgh, Laurence:
for Colla Voce, Concert Band, Orchestra, Stage Band, Future Prospect
and his contribution to the Talent Show and the Cultural Committee; Fitch,
Joshua: for his contribution to the school production, the Talent Show,
the Cultural Committee and technical support; Irwin, Grace: for Voix de
Femmes, Colla Voce, Concert Band, Stage Band and for her
contribution to the Young Musician Competition and the Cultural
Committee.
Tikanga Maori Award for the student who has made an outstanding contribution to the school in Tikanga Maori: (Joint award) Pounamu Teepa-Te
Maioha, Pounamu has also received a general award for Tainui House;
Nichole Sheeran. Nichole also received a general award for Kauri
House and for her contribution to the Cultural Committee.
