the PD. Educators, artists, and scholars will be encouraged to imagine ways
that they could use the process drama format in their own work.
Thursday July 31st
3:30pm – 4:45pm – Concurrent Sessions
musical theatre; community and school debates over “appropriate” material;
student identities on stage: who gets to be “seen” and “heard”?; building
a program/building allies; artistic integrity plus integrity in the process; the
unique needs of young actors; pre-service theatre teacher preparation. The
session will end with time left for discussion with the audience, as well as
networking.
