REFLECTION ABOUT THE
ENDANGERED SPECIES PROJECT
ENGLISH
DEPARTMENT
I had a project last week, which was called “Endangered
Animals”. My animal was the Sumatran tiger. Actually,
when I heard we would have a presentation about it, I
was really, really nervous. While I was researching about
my animal, I had trouble because I couldn’t find enough
information about why they were endangered. After
a lot of work, I finished my research and PowerPoint.
Even in those, I needed to show my references by using
APA style. I went to a site, and thus, I met my future
friend. However, the easiest part was done. My nextand
the hardest- step was talking in front of everybody.
Honestly, before my presentation, I was nervous, but
when I started to talk, all bad emotions were gone. I felt
very comfortable. Also, when Ms. Catherine said, “We
will make a presentation for the elementary students,”
I became excited. I didn’t want to wait because to talk
is the best thing in the world, and talking in front of
everybody in English is even better.
