MAURICE HALL ACTIVITIES CENTER
The Maurice H. Hall Activities Center
[HAC] is home to Millsaps Athletics and
the Department of Campus Recreation.
Students, faculty and staff enjoy free membership and free programs sponsored by the
department.
On rainy days, individual sports take
advantage of the 63,330-square-foot
building that contains both competition and
recreational space.
The HAC contains a full array of fitness
and weight-training equipment, an aerobics
room, racquetball and squash courts, an
outdoor pool and gyms for volleyball and

The Millsaps dining room, where students
on the Millsaps meal plan can choose from a
wide variety of foods, is housed in the College
Center. Millsaps Dining Services also runs the
Kava House, a campus coffee shop. The Kava
House serves coffees, smoothies, snacks and
meals to go.
COACH MONTGOMERY COURTS
Named after the great Jim Montgomery, Head Coach of
the Majors in the 70s, the Coach Montgomery Courts play
host to the Millsaps Men’s and Women’s Tennis Team.
With six courts total, the facility also includes a large deck
facing Courts 1 and 2 and is also high enough to look
over Courts 3 and 4 and Courts 5 and 6.
The facility was named after Coach Montgomery in 2008
as he le HXZ
