SHOUT OUTS From Visual Design
I want to give a shout out to Daisy Martinez because in the little time we’ ve known each other we’ ve became best friends, well more like sisters. There was times when one of us felt like packing our stuff and going home but we talked to each other and convinced them to stay. I’ m sad that the program is coming to an end because we’ re inseparable and I won’ t know what to do without her. It’ s funny because we’ re already making plans to see each other in the future. She’ s made this an unforgettable summer for me.
I would like to give a shout out to my RA Steven, who has been the best RA I have had over my three years in this program. Although you did not tell bed time stories like Jonny Rose or do you have a laugh and crazy personality like Nguyen. You have been able to put up with Gustavo, Jose, and I for all six weeks and I respect you for that. Even though you always end up ditch us to sit at other tables it all good. Thank you for everything you have done for us from going outside to play soccer or taking us to go and get frozen yogurt or most importantly letting all of us go into your room to watch a movie from Netflix. You made my last year very great and I want to thank you for that.
I would like to thank Nicholas Hajek, Chad Richeson, Andrhea Massey, Mckenna Gedzious, Cody Willard, Coraima Ramos, and Dylan Fry for being there for me through all my struggles this summer. It meant so much to because normally I would run to my family for that comfort but this summer you were the family that kept each other together.
Shout out to all who came this summer. To the freshman I hope you enjoyed this summer as much as we did last year. I look forward to seeing you guys come back next year and continue on and take the place of Patricia, Jessica, Itzel, and me of pranking all the girls and RA’ s. Shout out to Patty my workout buddy and buddy at heart. Also shout out to all my friends who have stuck through this summer with me. Shout out to all the juniors, we’ re going to miss you next year. Love you all:)
Thank you MAMA COW! Thank you for everything you have done for us and you’ ll always be our Mama Cow. Thank you Ana for all those times you put up with me and my crazy ways and all those times you say“ You Animas!!!” I’ m glad to have you as my RA and I’ m going to miss you! Claudia, Thank you for everything you have done and I enjoy spending time with you and the girls. I have a lot of fun and you always make me laugh. O, Yeah,“ GET IN MY POUCH!!!” To my dear sister Patricia thank you for the pain love and the scars, bruises, and also the times you try to prank me. Even the time when you tackled me in the hallway of the dorm, saying“ Hold Still!” Thank you for buying me rocks. Love you Pati!!!
I would like to thank everyone who has assisted in this program. I have learned so many valuable things here that will benefit me for the rest of my life. It is just amazing how many people want to see us all succeed. The memories I have made with this program with always be with me. Thank you all so much for believing in us!
I would like to make a shout to friend Phi Cao. She has been the best person ever that I could ever meet. We lost first round in ABC athletics and she knew how much soccer meant to me. She kept my spirit up and convinced me that there is always a next year to come back a million times stronger to overcome what held us back this year. She is a great friend to talk to, keep secrets, and to share memories together. No person on earth has understood me as equally as she has besides my family. I would consider her family since she came out hard and didn’ t let me lying on the ground after a couple beatings I took this year.
Shout out to all the UBMS students. It has been a wonderful summer and I would like to thank all of you for making this summer full of great memories. I has been fun photographing and documenting everything that has happened these past six weeks. I also like to thank my other helpers, Lyssia Martinez, David Hoang and Marisa Flores for helping me taking the photos. I hope everyone enjoys this year’ s yearbook.
