“ Of course Chinh’ s Team, the blue team, won...”
This last Sunday, we had went to the Main Event for a treat because we had all did well during the Academic Bowl. It was so much fun there. They had a lot of fun games and activities. They had laser quest, mini golf, bowling, and an arcade session that had all kinds of different games to play. I really enjoyed myself there. I had finally played laser quest for my first time and it was so much fun. I and my friends was the red crew, we ended up getting 2nd place out of 4 teams. Out of 20 of us, I ended up getting 8 out of 20 people. I was so excited. While you’ re in there shooting everybody, it’ s kind of dark. You can see with just the light and you have to hide from the other teams so that they won’ t shoot you. I ended up having good people in my team. While I was in there, I was thinking,“ geese, if I were to be in the army, I would already have gotten shot.” After that fun game of laser quest, we went too eat lunch, the pizza was pretty good. After we all finished eating, we went to play in the arcade. Me and my friend went to a photo booth and were taking pictures, making funny faces. Then we just kept playing the others games as well. Before we had to leave the Main Event, I wanted to play everything in there, so I played mini golf for my first time and that was a lot of fun. The way they had the mini golf set up, it looked so nice and really fun to be in there. I had lost in mini golf but its okay because it was fun.- Martha Pecina
After Academic Bowl, we went to the Big Event where we could relax and enjoy ourselves. I had a lot of fun running around playing games, taking so many pictures together with my friends laughing. Then Phi and I started bowling, and then went to go take pictures again. We were laughing, making the goofiest faces as possible. Then it was time for laser tag against Chinh’ s Team vs. Ana’ s Team. I got hit so many times, and I wasn’ t good at it either, but it was sure a lot of fun spending time with everyone. Of course Chinh’ s Team, the blue team, won and we came in 2nd and the green team came in 3rd.- Enriqueta Calderon
Main Event was a good old time! It was the first time I had ever been and also the first time I ever played laser tag too! You should have seen me out there, I was like a cheetah sprinting from wall to wall, shooting them noobs out of my way! Then out of nowhere, some poser starts shooting me from the bottom floor like a noob and then, I was all like“ Dude what the heck?”. Overall I had a great time.- Jazmin Escamilla
