On the 15th of June, students from the State program went on our first field trip. When I heard that we were going to the Cowboy Stadium and Shakespeare in the park, I wasn’ t very excited. I usually hate anything that involves sports and I never liked learning about Shakespeare. It was always boring, but I was wrong. That was my favorite day so far. The Cowboy Stadium was better than I thought and it was really big. I didn’ t think they would have art along the building, but they had a lot of nice pieces and I really enjoyed it. I loved the Shakespeare. The actors were amazing, and everything just fit together perfectly. I’ m glad I saw the play. But most of all I liked the puppy that they found under the stage, it was adorable.

On Saturday, I went to Dallas Cowboy’ s stadium. It was amazing!
I didn’ t want to leave. I got an autograph from Everson Walls and Leon Lett. I got to tour the whole stadium, including the locker rooms of the players and the cheerleaders. I got to do a bungee run and race through a blow up obstacle course. Also I stood in the in endzone while Nick Hajek threw the ball to me, which actually went over my head. I found out that Jerry Jones has his own personal elevator. I was in heaven there, it was just absolutely spectacular.- Rebecca Loftin
