2013 has been another successful year
for Havelock North High School netball. We have been
well represented in Hawkes Bay netball, having 12 teams
entered into local competition.
Netball Highlights for 2012 include:
• Senior B, Senior Silver, 9C – all winners of their grade
• 9B – runners up Representative players:
• Hawkes Bay u17’s – Reegan Brown and Kate York
• Hawkes Bay u15’s – Olivia Addis and Jemima Knott
A huge thank you to all the teachers, parents and other adults
who have supported the girls throughout the season.
Special thanks must go to the following parents and students
who have coached or managed a school netball team. The
time and effort you have put into practices, and on Saturdays, to
develop the skills and teamwork of HNHS netball teams – is much
appreciated.

Jackson, Bridget Broadhurst, Michelle Ritchie, Christine Gallagher,
Nicky Johnson, Ange Rathbone, Kirsty Anderson, Yvette Speeden,

Thanks to our student coaches and other helpers – Erica Flanders,
Kate York, Chelsea Collins, Daneka Boogard, Anya Morrish, Liz
Wicken, Emily Gallagher, Cheyenne Welch, Cassidy White and
Eve Fuller.
Thanks to Nicky Johnson who coached, umpired and organised
student umpires every week and to our students who umpire
week in, week out. Teams would not be able to play without
you. Thanks to Neesha Johnson who has umpired most rounds
of netball every week for the last three years. Thank you for all
your hard work. You will be missed next year!
Thanks also to all those who helped umpire most weeks and did
a great job:- Olivia Broadhurst, Hannah Murdoch, Jasmine MIhaka
