My great uncle always says , “ He has patience like Job .” In the bible Job was a wealthy man with a big family . He had everything . So the devil told God that he is protecting Job from danger , and God agreed to the devil ’ s statement . God took everything away from Job . Everybody started thinking that they should forsake God , but Job didn ’ t , and Job got everything back . My relationship with my Great Uncle is perfect . Since I was a toddler , he and I did everything fun . Hanging out on the beach , playing with the waves , and walking on the boardwalk are a specific memory that symbolizes my relationship with my great uncle .
The life lesson my uncle taught me is to be patient . You always have to patient , even though it is hard . How he taught this lesson was in the car at a light . He was the second car waiting for the light . When the light turned green , it took eight seconds for the car to go . So I was telling my uncle to beep at the car to go . Calmly he said no . So I was asking him , why did you not beep the horn ? My uncle ironically said that if the car didn ’ t go on the green light for eight seconds , it ’ s still going to go . To me it sounded stupid , but until know it is the truth , because it doesn ’ t matter how long they take , they are going to go , and you just have to be patient .
I got better patience because of my great uncle . All you have to do is wait and it will happen . What people see their selves in me are happiness , sometimes playing around , and just being a good friend . I thank god for my great uncle , he is like a second father to . I ’ m really glad to talk to him and be around him for the rest of my life .
