The home’s interior exhibits equal English country flavor: oak, mahogany and walnut mingle with muted, softly-hued tile and oiled bronze hardware. Although the home features seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms — ample space for their family of four — the Lathams expected visits from English friends and relatives would entail lengthier stays than the average overnight or weekend.
