A WORD OF WELCOME FROM TORONTO
Bob Mushikori
AGM Chair
Balebbe Mwenayo
Today marks the eleventh year since Dream NAMCA was hatched here in Toronto.
On behalf of my Colleagues on Founders Council, NAMCA Board, Team Toronto organizing committee
volunteers, members of Uganda multicultural Associations, Uganda Martyrs Church Of Canada, Dominion
Church of Canada and friends; I Welcome you all in your Toronto City.
I understand NAMCA chose to come to Toronto so as to have good climate and support to deliberate on issues
that affect Economic development between Bamasaba in Diaspora and their homeland. Whoever thought of
coming here for that purpose, was right, in a right City for the right idea. Toronto is the place where Economics
and Peace of the World are all discussed. The G8 always run up here for the same purpose; “PEACE &
ECONOMIC development of their Nations”. Now, while you’re here for this short weekend, please take a
moment and relax your body and mind, don’t miss out to visit the most interesting places and buildings in the
World.
We have CN Tower, Niagara Falls, Wonderland; Woodbine horses Racing, Ontario Science Centre, only one of
the best Underground sub-ways in the world is here in Toronto.
If time allows visit Rogers Centre and watch out to a great sport by Raptors Basket ball and of cause our great
Hockey Team Maple leaves.
It is rumored that visitors Leaving Toronto complain about Toronto time, runs too fast to see anything, faster
than time in their home Cities; the mistake with our visitors they don’t have time to budget for their time!
Please, don’t fall in trap by blaming Toronto for failure to budget your time, Toronto time is your love, your
Peace and your relaxation, budget it up before you lose it!
Once again, you’re welcome home, feel free to enjoy, you’re now in Holiday City second to none in the world,
have fun! Have a fruitful AGM 2010 and God bless, mwenayo!
