Dear Member:
We are delighted to have you here to participate and share in the 12th Annual General Meeting of NAMCA. Welcome to
Sunny San Diego, home of the Padre’s (baseball) and the Chargers (football). Many of you have traveled long distances
and this serves to remind us all just how important members consider the work of this organization. Khwabinyale naabi!
NAMCA is committed to actively promoting the well being of our communities in North America and Uganda. Our aim is
unite our members in pursuit of common objectives. This year our theme will focus on technology and innovation.
Technology frustrates some of us because of its complexity, our lack of knowledge and at times its unreliability – computers
that don’t boot, cell phones with no reception, short battery life, websites that don’t work etc. Despite these challenges, it
is undeniable that every facet of our lives will be dramatically affected by technology. Moreover, as the pace of innovation
increases – complexity, lack of knowledge and unreliability diminish. What is certain is that these frustrations will diminish
