Home KITCHEN DINING ROOM The dining room dons a round Restoration Hardware table and Artistic Frame custom off-white faux leather chairs. The exposed light bulb chandelier suspended from the coffered ceiling adds an attention-grabbing design element. A turquoise and gray wallpaper with a subtle metallic sheen covers the walls, giving the dining room a festive burst of color. > 58 MARCH 2016 (201) GOLD COAST ELLIOTT KAUFMAN PHOTOGRAPHY The neutral aesthetic is carried into the kitchen, which boasts cabinetry painted in Benjamin Moore Ozark Shadows and an onyx natural stone backsplash. The walnut island with pure white Caesarstone countertop holds an undermount stainless steel sink and a KitchenAid dishwasher. The black leather Arteriors stools, shortened to counter height, offer the perfect place for the family’s two children to have an after-school snack. As Laurie enjoys cooking and baking, she utilizes a 36inch Wolf gas range, in addition to a KitchenAid oven and microwave combination. Two Arteriors globe lights hang over the island. One of the most notable features in the kitchen is the wall of windows that looks out onto the family’s bluestone patio. Because the back of the building is brick, Marsh chose the steel grid windows to add to the industrial vibe. She describes the wall of windows as a “stylistic choice that bridges between a period house and a new house” – a cohesive theme throughout the Hoboken home. Opposite the kitchen island is a floating hutch with a plethora of cabinet space. A walk-in pantry is tucked behind the hutch on the left, and a small home office sits on the right.
