he Rockettes may be
synonymous with the
Radio City Christmas
Spectacular, but for two
former Rockettes, Jersey
City is where they kick it
now. Jacey Lambros and Danielle
DeAngelo, who both danced with the
legendary troupe for years, not only call
this Gold Coast city home, but it’s also
home to their boutique fitness studio,
The Sports Barre.
Born from their passion for dance and
fitness, The Sports Barre offers high-energy classes designed to give clients “the
strength of an athlete with the body of a
dancer.” Opened in early 2015, The
Sports Barre combines traditional athletic
conditioning with dance-based fitness, so
each class offers a total body workout in
a fun and innovative way. And though
success has come quickly for their
business, the path to getting there was
decades in the making.
