The Berger Learning Group provides a range of AppliedBehavior Analysis( ABA) services for children with special needs as well as typically-developing children varying in age from 18 months to 18 years. The Group’ s highly trained staff works with familiesand schools, under the supervision of its director, DianeBerger, MA, BCBA, aBoard Certified Behavior Analystand a Certified Special Educator. CTC Academy provides educational and therapeutic services for children with developmentaldisabilities. Amulti-sensory approach is utilized in a nurturing and caring environment to enrich the lives of our students and maximize their potential while lending support to their families. Early Enrichment Program( EEP) for children ages 18 months to 3years of age – open enrollment. NJ State approved pre-school, kindergarten, primary and high school, 3 – 21 years of age. Also available are support groups for families, children with special needs whoare not enrolled at the CTCand siblings of children with special needs.

“ Kulanu”, which means“ All of Us”, is a Hebrew School class for Jewish children( ages7 through 13) with special needs. The class meets Sundays from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. It incorporates effective educational practices for children of differing needs and learning abilities. Children are involved in all Hebrew School activities including Jewish customsand ceremonies, music, library, and more-allin an effort to strengthen their Jewish identity and appreciation of the Jewishcommunity. Ifdesired, childrencan be given the skills and training to become a bar or bat mitzvah. Our teacher, Susan Bauer, is a certified special education instructor. Mrs. Bauer has served as a resource room teacher, a self-contained LLD teacher and an inclusion special education teacher. She has taught children in grades kindergarten through seventhgrade.

Afull-time clinical staff provides individual and group therapy as well as a parent support group. Holmstead students between the ages of 13 and 18 in grades 8 through 12 have been unabletoachievesuccessfullyintraditional school settings. Typical Holmstead students may have struggled with: Anxiety * Depression * School Phobia * Learning Problems * Behavior-ManagementIssues * Risk-Taking Behaviors.
