DR. ROSALIE NGUYEN, BETTER KNOWN BY HER patients as“ Dr. Rose,” is founder and chief dentist at Edgewater Pediatric Dentistry and is a well-respected dentist in the community as well as among her colleagues. When the practice opened in 2009, her goal was for it to be the last stop for her patients when it comes to their dental needs. She strongly believes that all children, including those with physical and / or developmental disabilities, deserve quality dental care.
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and each operatory has a television mounted to the ceiling to keep patients entertained. She and her staff created a social story as a tool to help patients with autism prepare for upcoming dental visits. To provide the best experience for her young patients, treatment options include nitrous oxide, oral or IV sedation, and general anesthesia.
Dr. Rose is a graduate of UMDNJ and St. Barnabas Hospital Pediatric Dental Program, adiplomate of the ABPD, and is an active member of the AAPD, ADA, NJDA, and Bergen County Dental Society, NJAPD. She received extensive training at the Rose F. Kennedy Center in New York, caring for patients with physical and developmental disabilities. She has been recognized as a top dentist in New Jersey Monthly magazine and has also been voted one of NJ’ s Favorite Kids’ Doctor by New Jersey Family magazine numerous years.
