Kristen and Brian met on Match. com in the fall of2013. They had their first date at The Cornerstone in Hillsdale, and unbeknownst to them, it was trivia night.“ We spent the next couple hours talking, eating and, of course, playing trivia,” Kristen says.“ We had agreat deal incommon, particularly our love ofdogs and craft beer.” The couple purchased ahome inWestwood in the fall of 2015 and that following spring, on April 8, 2016, Brian proposed.“ Wewere enjoying aFriday night in our home after along work week,” Kristen recalls.“ We had gone engagement ring shopping afew months prior but Ihad no idea when itwas going to happen.” Brian’ sproposal was sweet and low key,“ Just our style,” Kristen says.“ It was so great getting engaged inour new home, with our dogs atour feet.”
