I
t was a typical Saturday in the summer of 2013 and Jessica was
looking for something to do. She ended up meeting her close
friend down at the beach. “The entire day she kept telling me,
‘I have the perfect guy for you’ and ‘you need to meet him,’”
recalls Jessica. As the day progressed, Jessica and her friend ended
meeting up with some other friends and it was at that point that she
was introduced to George. “Little did I know from that moment on,
we would be inseparable,” Jessica says. “As the night went on, we
found out we had more in common then we initially thought.” Fast
forward almost three years, to April 8, 2016, when George asked
Jessica to marry him. “I should have known something was odd that
morning when he made me breakfast in bed and watched Lifetime
movies with me,” she says. The couple had plans to stay in Jersey
City that evening for a “friend’s birthday.” Unfortunately, the weather
had got in the way of George’s initial plan of proposing by the water.
However, George thought of an alternative: He had an entire suite at
the Westin decorated with beautiful roses, champagne and photos of
them together. It was there that he asked Jessica “to be his forever,”
she says.
